This is Oasis at their best. This is a great rock song. The songs 7 minutes feel more like 3. And Liam's vocal is just great. D'you Know What I Mean is taken from the album Be Here Now, which includes other great songs like: All Around The World, Stand By Me, and My Big Mouth. On D'you Know What I Mean you get 3 other great Oasis songs, including a great version of David Bowie's Heroes. D'you Know What I Mean just great.

I first heard this tune when it was first released less more than three years ago. I have to admit that this song totally blew me away - I couldn't beleive how good it was. As a single of more than six minutes it deservedly hit the no.1 spot immediately - remember the stage invasion on 'Top of the Pops'? The song has a remarkable build-up at the start and the various guitar layers really give it an anthemic feeling. Liam's vocals as he belts out the chorus 'all my people right here right now D'you know what I mean' are superb and the track is a great choice to open 'Be Here Now', the band's third studio album. A great, uplifting, stormer of a song - know what I mean?

This is the first single of their 1997 Be Here Now Album, and let me tell you it is a really cool single, and great songs. Every one of them. Great move by oasis and Big Brother to release all the singles again. BYT IT!
