Once again, Oasis prove there is more to being a band than writing an albums worth of A sides and filling the singles with mediocre songs.
The legendary Live Forever a majestic song in its own right, with searing lyrics reminiscent of surprise surprise the Beatles at their best. Then Oasis take you on a rollercoaster of mellancholy with Up In The Sky being played acoustic to mellow the senses before the ethereal burst of awesome power that is Cloudburst. Wait till about 3:40 for one of Oasis most inspired ever instrumental episodes. A lesson in how to layer a solo with guitar, drums and bass. Followed closely with the obligatory live '94 track, not to be outdone, Supersonic relives the early swagger Oasis seemed to have invented for themselves in their live shows.
In conclusion, if you like to smile broadly when listening to music, Buy Live Forever, if you like to sit and brood to yourself whilst listening to music, buy Live Forever, basically just buy Live Forever.

This is once again a truly brilliant single from Oasis. One of my favourites of all time. Whatever anyone else says, this has got to be one of the greatest songs ever.

Live Forever is one of the greatest oasis singles ever. It signalled the beginning of something big, something amazing, something that saw the beginning of a new era for British rock and British music as a whole. This song was recorded long before the egos and the headline grabbing antics protruded into the lives of Messrs Noel and Liam, it is one that the most discerning of Oasis fans must possess and the average music fan must get. Live Forever is one thing that we all would like to see Oasis do. They make us dance, sing and be happy; Be Here Now and Definetly Maybe get this single as at this point in the career of Oasis they really were Standing on the Shoulder of Giants.

THIS IS SIMPLY THE BEST OASIS SONG EVER AT THE START WHEN IT WHISTLES AND WHISPERS "OYEAH" AND KICKS IN ITS JUST AMAZIN!!!! I WANT IT PLAYING AT MY FUNERAL (ironically)
