Impressed with "Paradise Blown", their debut album? So was I, that's the reason why I bought this CD without bothering to give it a pre-listen. And what a dog it turned out to be. 9 Lazy 9 multiply the number of musical citations just to hide their unability to come up with a synthesis of their own, not to mention a vaguely interesting own. If you've met 9 Lazy 9 through this CD, don't let it put you off, and buy the really masterful "Paradise Blown".
