this is a great batch of songs they plummed thogether in this E.P. format (they may have been leftover from "THE INNOCENTS" sessions perhaps?). However this american version of the e.p., which although contains the much sought after ltd edtion remixes of STOP and KNOCKING ON YOUR DOOR, fails to include GOD REST YE MERRY GENTLEMEN. Hence it looses a star. It is still worthy for those who dont own the e.p. in any format though?

This EP shows Erasure as being the best pop act of the 80/90`s (And they are even still doing the rounds). The 12" mixes are great and poppy with the Stop 12" standing out. She won`t be home is a sad christmas song. I believe that if you buy this EP, it will be the first of many.

Having a good sort out of all my tapes, i found this one and thought does it still sound good after all these years. Yes it does, all six tracks are still sounding good even through my tape is getting stuck in my old tape deck, the best track for me is SHE WON'T BE HOME, followed by STOP, this is a very good Christmas album which you can play all year round,and now i have it on cd i can throw my tape away before it get stuck in my tape deck again, and again.
