5.0 out of 5 stars ANARCHY RULZ!!!!, 21 Sep 2002
By A Customer
ECW Anarchy Rulz was one of the best ECW shows ever.It took place on September 19th 1999 in Villa Park,Illonois. These are the matches and my opinions:

1)Jerry Lynn VS Lance Storm.
(An excellent match with aerial and mat wrestling.Theres a great part where theres about 10 near falls in a row.Classic technical match)*****

2)6 PERSON TAG MATCH:
Simon Diamond,Tom Marquez & Tony Devito VS Nova,Chetti & Jazz.
(The only real weak point of the show with Chetti getting injured about 30 seconds in and Devito messing up a rock-bottom type move. The match as a whole was pretty bad)**

3)3 WAY DANCE:
Yoshihiro Tajiri VS Little Guido VS Super Crazy.
(Awesome athletic performance by all 3 men.Like the first match, loads of great moves and near falls)*****

4)Sabu VS Justin Credible.
(Brutal bloody war involving tables, chairs and canes.Justin's head gets busted wide open and Sabu gets a nasty gash on his stomach from a piece of broken table)****

5)ECW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 3 WAY DANCE:
Taz(c) VS Mike Awesome VS Masato Tanaka.
(This was supposed to be just Taz vs Tanaka but Awesome appears in the front row and Taz invites him to join in.This was easily match of the night with an Awesome bomb over the top through a table and countless other insane bumps.Great non-stop brutality from beginning to end)*****+++

6)ECW TAG TEAM TITLES:
Tommy Dreamer & Raven(c) VS Steve Corino & Rhino.
(This could have been great if given more time.It lasts about 3 minutes but includes Francine whacking Jack Victory with a chair and Raven's DDT.Short but sweet)***

7)ECW TV TITLE:
Rob Van Dam(c) VS Balls Mahoney.
(Class match and a great way to end the show.Highlights include RVD's somersault from the top into the crowd on Balls. Also a viscous piledriver by Balls and some good stuff with chairs.Good 25 minute match)****

Overall an awesome PPV but not as good as Heatwave 98 because of the weak Simon match and the tag title match being 2 short. The rest of the card more than makes up for these minor glitches and the RVD-Balls match is better than most people would say.Worth buying just for the World Title match but the opener and the Guido-Tajiri-Crazy is also amazing.

This ppv proves why ECW is the best wrestling company around. They couldn't have opened better than with Jerry Lynn v Lance Storm, the match that was supposed to be Nova/Chetti v Simon Diamond/? ended up in chaos, the 3 way dance was amazing, Sabu v Justin Credible was the best of the night, the title match was better than Tanaka and Awesomes Heatwave 98 match because it had Taz in it(even though he was only in it for about 2 minutes), the tag team title match was short because of Tommy Dreamer's back injury but it was still entertaining and the tv title match was up to the usual standards of RVD matches. You should buy this tape for both the quality action and also to see most of the big names in ECW before they moved to WWF or WCW.

5.0 out of 5 stars Anarchy Rulz!!!!!, 6 Jul 2005
Anarchy Rulz '99 was an excellent PPV, here are the matches:

Match 1: Lance Storm (with Dawn Marie) vs. Jerry Lynn 9/10
Great fast-paced technical match. A great way to start the show.

Match 2: Simon Diamond and Tony De Vito vs. Nova and Chris Chetti 3/10
This wasn't really a match because you didn't really know what was going on most of the time. The only bad match in this PPV.

Match 3: Three way Dance: Little Guido (with Big Sal) vs. Super Crazy vs. Tajiri 10/10
WOW! This match was amazing, so much great high flying bits-there wasn't one bad thing about this match. It had everything!

Match 4: Sabu vs. Justin Credible 8/10
I would say that this was the best hardcore match of the night. They use tons of weapons in this one. This was a great match.

Match 5: ECW World Heavyweigt Championsip Three way dance: Taz vs. Tanaka vs. Mike Awesome 10/10
This was the match of the night. It had so many great bits in. Some of those are an awesome bomb off the top rope through a table an awesome bomb over the top rope through a table and many more great bits. Tanaka hits all three of his finishers.

Match 6:ECW tag team championsip: Tommy Dreamer (with Francine) and Raven vs. Steve Corino and Rhyno (with Jack Victory) 7/10
A Good match but too short. If it was longer it could of been better. Loads of DDTs hit.

Match 7: ECW TV Chanpionship: Rob Van Dam vs. Balls Mahoney 8/10
A good way to end the show, a great performance by both men.

Overall Anarchy Rulz '99 is a great PPV and a must buy.
