When Nancy boy crashed into the mundane world of british pop the placebo effect had certainly made its mark. However, just as Pure Morning was not a logical follow-up from the last albulm Placebo have re-invented themselve once again with taste in men. Listen carefully and there is distinct block rockin' beat to be heard. Molko's unmistakably addictive voice and lyrics are still just as fresh and thought provoking as ever. It's still placebo class but just with a little more clout. They've changed their taste in men but thankfully not in music.
