Not only does Debelah Morgan have the rock-hard abs, R&B chops and high vocal register that made Mariah Carey a household name, but she also has extensive classical training that gives some legitimacy to the Bach and Bizet samples sprinkled among her album's hip-pop beats. On personality, however, Carey needn't worry: Morgan's Dance with Me has no spirit of its own and no story to tell. The usual mix of dancefloor tracks and ballads here includes some good ones, such as "Baby I Need Your Love" and "Let's Get It On", and some not-so-good ones, such as "Come and Dance" and "Can't Stop Loving You". But all are predictable retreads of songs you've heard before. Morgan's voice is strong, but her material holds her back, keeping her out of contention in this age of the superdiva. --Courtney Kemp

Debelah Morgan is the new voice of r'n'b/pop. Her stunning five octave voice makes you wanna cry and her uplifting and always touching songs do the same. Highlights include such gems as "I Remember", "Take The Rain Away", "Close To You" & the simple melody of "Think Of You" make you wanna hug someone. This album is full of uplifting and euphoric songs which take on a journey very few artists go. Although the title track is good it does not justify the quality of this album half as much as the others. Everyone that has heard this album has said to me it is simply fascinating, which of course it is. But there are always week points in a good album and there ain't no exception here. With the dire "Come and Danz" and "Baby I Need your Love" there mearly to fill a gap. But that is the only negative point to be made about this near perfect album. WELL DONE DEBELAH!!!!!!!!!!

I fell in love with Debelah when i first saw her video on THE BOX. Then the song began to grow on me, so i dediced to order the album off of amazon. I recieved it recently and what can i say? I love it, every song took my breath away. The songs "I remember", "Close to you", "What would you do" and "Fall in love again" are gorgeous and uplifting. The upbeat "Baby i need your love" and "Come and danz" make ya wanna . . . well dance. The haunting opening vocal on "Bring back the sun" gave me chills down my spine. This album is definitely no disapointment and there are some gorgeous pictures of Debelah in the insert. What more can you ask for? Talented beyond recognition and absolutely gorgeous. Buy this cd, if you like to be uplifted and happy, and even if you like to sit in your room and cry (?). Ace! Love ya Debelah.

I thought Debelah's first song, dance with me, was brilliant, and thought that i should really get the album, but, after hearing a few on here I was a bit dissappointed. Unlike her first song they don't really make me want to get up and dance. But if you are into more soulful music, then this is for you.
