I`ve been into Rosetta Stone for a long time now and eagerly awaited the release of this album. When the band dropped their sisters sound for a more gritty industrial approach they just kept getting better and better. Unfortunatley this album suffers from two major flaws. The first is that, with the exception of one or two tracks, the actual songs covered where never particularly good in the first place. The second is that although some of the radical changes and experimental work here are impressive. You can`t help thinking that maybe more time was spent on creating bizzare sounds than actualy creating some good pieces of music. It`s said that Porl King, the vocalist has new material in the pipeline. If it matches the quality but exceeds the content of this disc then it should be something to look forward to. If you`ve never heard this band, go for one of the earlier albums such as `the tyrany of inaction` or `hiding in waiting`. You won`t be sorry.
