I brought this video, as i wanted to learn more about the conflict, i have read many of the books surrounding the subject and wanted to put images to what i had read. I was'nt dissapointed...
The video is straight to the point and covers all of the main areas of interest, and is not biased to either side.
After watching this video, i was genuinely in awe of the warriors who fought on both sides, especially the argentinian conscripts who were forced to fight against Britains elite.
I recommend this video to anyone who has an interest in the conflict.

A sound account of the Falklands War. "The Falklands War: A Close Run Thing" is a documentry which offers a general overview of the Falklands Conflict, it does not come across as being a British propaganda movie, a bit of flag waving, but offers genuine footage from ITN archives. Being only an hour in length it does not really go into much depth, it is merely a narrative of the process of the conflict, but provides a good starting point for anyone who is interested in studying the conflict. All important events are covered, i.e. the sailing of the Task Force, the sinking of the Belgrano, the Sheffield and the landing at San Carlos Bay as well as the march to Stanley and the surrender of the Argentine armed forces. There is also an interesting section on the medical aspect of the war. Even though the interviewees are mainly British, they give interesting accounts of the role they and their fellow Britons played in the conflict. Those interviewed include high-ranking officials in the military as well as ordinary soldiers and airmen. Nice, cute...
