Playboy, a cherished institution celebrated for its superior gift in worshipping the divine female form has, out of the most sensual and alluring of feminine accessories, created a dismally dreary DVD.

In this collection Playboy has attempted to capture the mystery and elegance of lingerie, but has failed on every level. The episodes on this DVD, most of which are seemingly mired in 80's fashions, range from the forced and rigid ("Body Motion") to the pathetically corny and cringe-inducing ("Mannequins?"). Pondering shots of ladies in lingerie cut rapidly to nude images which refuse to linger. Far be it for me to suggest that this collection is a failure because of a lack of nudity, rather what Playboy has failed to notice is that one of the most beautiful things about women in lingerie is women removing their lingerie, which is unashamedly absent here.

The two most beautiful women in this collection appear in episodes which are both spoiled by the presence of men who are, most annoyingly, omni-present in a DVD devoted to lingerie. Also, the crass male voice-over plummets to all time depths.

The prettiest sequence in this collection accompanies the closing credits, where a blink and you've missed it treat concerns a close up of a girl's bottom as she plays tease with her French knickers, exactly the kind of delight one would expect from a lingerie collection, and exactly the kind one won't find on this DVD.

If one finds the Barbie Dolls on the cover alluring, they do not appear in any of the episodes, but if the magnetism of six glamorous women in sensual pink silks and satins is a tantalising one, don't be fooled. There are beautiful lingerie moments on other Playboy collections.

this d.v.d is a total rip-off the girls shown on the cover are not even in the d.v.d, the film it's self is not erotic in the slightest and the women are very average no real babes among them not like other playboy d.v.d's.
save your cash and get something elese
