If you are dedicated to learning a language, then this series is definately for you.
Having gone through the "Talk Now! Learn Greek" software which precedes this title, I was confident that I could breeze through this one and add to my certificates - not so!
From start up this package speaks and writes in Greek....even after you change your language selection over to your own. Initial reaction for non-dedicated learners at this point would be to throw it in the bin, but believe it or not guesswork gets you a long way, and before you know it you are making sense of what is being said to you in Greek!
The games are very entertaining, one of my favourites is listening to a series of directions and guiding a car to the correct location - not just fun, but also very practical skills to learn.
You will find much of the material learnt in Talk Now! is used in the conversations, comprehension, games and dictation exercises. By using this material you will learn to create sentences and make sense of whole paragraphs spoken to you in Greek.
An engrossing learning tool, with a fun approach to absorbing practical terms and phrases.

While this CD doesn't stand up on it's own as a teaching tool, it is excellent for those who have already covered foundation level Greek and want listening and vocabulary practice. In these two areas, the disc is invaluable. It is also fun, and strangely addictive.
If you can afford to buy a learning CDRom, then I would recommend you buy this, just don't expect it to be your only route to learning the language.
