Sakamoto's classical music is as instantly recognisable now as is that of Philip Glass. Both have worked extensively in the film medium as well as out of theatre material. This 4 movement work based on one of the most haunting themes Sakamoto has ever written takes you through four different intense moods but with the constant reminder of that theme you came in with. The poignancy of Grief, the fearsome cacophany of Anger,the lyricism of Prayer and the redemptive quality of Salvation will leave you with the soundtrack to a spiritual movie that has not yet been made..but is there inside your head
