Product Description

Amazon.co.uk Review

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater for Game Boy Color is virtually a direct port from the hugely popular PlayStation version. Although, and understandably so, the graphical interface is very different the main gist of the game is still present.

Choosing between a number of different skaters, including Tony Hawk, the aim of the game is to complete a number of tasks set out before you, whether they be performing tricks, gathering items or even picking up loose cash, so that you can earn money to buy extra skills and better boards.

The graphics see the gameplay played from side to side rather than from the third-person perspective, which makes the game slightly easier to get to grips with if you are new to the genre.

Other options available include a free skate mode to help you practice your moves, a photo album to collect pictures in along the way and a password facility to access later levels, while the game is lengthened with different skaters having different tricks up their sleeves.

If you are a fan of Tony Hawk and can't lug a PlayStation and TV where ever you go, this is certainly a good answer to keeping you playing while on the road. --Stuart Miles

1.0 out of 5 stars THIS IS DISAPPOINTING COMPARED TO THE PLAYSTATION EDITION, 26 Jul 2000
By A Customer
i am a big fan of both playstation versions of this game however i was very disappointed to say the least about this game. obviously it wasn't going to be anywhere near as good being on the game boy but you would expect more then just 8 possible moves and they can only be done in a petty half pipe-THIS GAME IS NOT RAD!
