Video golf doesn't get any more casual (without being completely ludicrous) than Everybody's Golf 2, an amusing mix of arcade-style gameplay and mostly realistic golf physics. Featuring six modes of play and seven courses, this offbeat sports title offers good single and multiplayer action for those who find the officially licensed golf titles a little too stiff.

The golfers in Everybody's Golf 2are a motley line-up of cartoon characters with varying abilities. In addition to unlocking playable characters in the single-player versus mode, golfers can win balls, clubs and other prizes in tournament mode. These equipment upgrades help boost your skill level during subsequent golf rounds.

The 3-D graphics in Everybody's Golf 2are somewhat inconsistent. This game is littered with two-dimensional eyesores (such as the peanut gallery of onlookers) and sloppy animation (such as when golfers chase down balls). Equally spotty are the controls. The teeny-tiny swing meter makes your shot power hard to judge, and pulling off accurate or non-straightforward shots with the game's control set-up is much more difficult than it needs to be. --Joe Hon

A 'must buy' title, even if you're not a golf fan.

The gameplay is easy to pick up but the depth and subtlety of this game will keep you engrossed for ages, no matter whether you're playing solo or against a human opponent. A great selection of courses on offer, plus options for matchplay against the CPU or human, tournaments (progress through course and the ranks from Amateur to International Pro, picking up points, spot prizes and bonuses along the way), practice, etc, etc. Even archives your best shots for viewing whenever you feel like it.

I'm not a big golf fan, but this has enough to it to keep you playing, and coming back for more.

Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars

Anyone who has played original will know just how good it was, and this sequel takes a step up from the original. Indeed, alot of the same elements are here - simple gameply, cartoon charatcers, colorful graphics. It feels like more of a 'complete' game when put next to the original. Theirs more detail in the graphics, the courses are better, the menus/features are better. But it still keeps the simplicity of just playing fun golf, without the worry of the technical side of it!
Great game, especially when playing with mates!

Everybody's Golf 2 has provided me and my friends with hours of top golfing action, the game play is superb, and the courses are challenging.
It also has a fun option to distract your opponent whilst he is taking a shot.
If you plan on purchasing a golf game for your playstation GET THIS!!
