This game quite simply falls in between ISS by Konami and the over-rated FIFA series by EA. It is more fun and arcade orientated than ISS, but has much more depth and realistic playability than FIFA. The graphics are great, colourful and fluid and beats both its rivals in this dept. You can score goals from near or far, and the score line always stays realistic.

The ball has a "heavy-leather" feel to it, while the pitches have an almost velvet smooth texture to it, which make passing the ball an absolute pleasure. Its easy to pull off shooting and heading moves once you lose your marker. Running with the ball is made realistic by the fact that if you get too greedy and you think you're Maradonna then you will be tackled. So none of those goal to goal sprints seen in FIFA I'm afr
