Hola! Dance to this one!, 14 May 2002

This CD was recommended to me by my dance teachers at the Salsa class in Derry as a great CD with a mix of songs to practice Merengue, Mambo and salsa to. Not being a salsa expert I wanted a CD that contained songs I would be familiar with as well as songs which I could learn to love.
I was not disappointed with Latin Fever, familiar tracks by Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin and J-Lo make this accessible to people trying, literally, to find their feet with latin american music. But there is also a great mix of not-so-well-known tracks to keep you interested. Can I particularly recommend Salome for those learning the merengue!
This is a double CD set which is also great value. If I had to make one complaint it is that the version of Livin' La Vida Loca is not the one we know and love from the charts, its a souped up dance version that falls a bit short of the mark, but don't let that put you off the rest of the CD.

This is one big party! You won't be able to resist dancing to the sexy tunes and captivating rhythms! An exciting mixture of pop, dance, salsa and jazz (all with a distinct latin flavour of course!) I was delighted to discover a handful songs that were new to me, as well as the popular latin hits. The only downside is that I don't speak Spanish, so it takes me double as long to learn the lyrics and I don't have a clue what I'm singing!

This is a brilliant c.d if you like latin music. It's spicy and has got some brilliant spanish tunes on there. Perfect for remembering holidays or just to dance around your bedroom to. A massive hit!
