If ever proof were needed of the power of television it lies in the meteoric rise to fame of the pop phenomenon that is S Club 7. Miami 7, the BBC's biggest export after the Teletubbies, has made Bradley, Hannah, Jo, Jon, Paul, Tina and Rachel household names in over 100 countries, given them a huge debut album and a string of top 5 UK hits. Their second series, LA 7, is similarly blessed with some of the shiniest pop going, although, thankfully they've given up putting the words "s" and "club" into every song. Aside from the R&B-lite "Natural" (up there with Britney Spears's best) and a supremely chilled cover of Urban Species' "Spiritual Love"--which together take care of the seven's more sophisticated side--7 is a full-on party bag of fun. Like party pieces "Love Train", "Bring The House Down" and the single "Reach", which follow the same route as the Spice Girls' "Stop" to high gloss Motown and unashamed cheese, the sole purpose of every track is to get pre-teens and drunk students alike on their feet and dancing. At first I didn't know what to think of this cd. It's a lot different from their first album but I got to really love it! Reach is a catchy single telling you to go for your dreams and I love Natural! It has an r&b feel to it. I'll Keep Waiting has Bradley rapping through a lot of it. I didn't know what to think of this at first cause I'm not really a rap fan but unlike most rap you can understand what he's saying so his rap is good. I love Bring the House Down. It is so catchy and danceable.Best Friend is really nice too. It talks about your closest friend. All In Love is Fair is really good but Bradley rapping at the end kind of ruins it a bit. Love Train is a really catchy danceable song and it has a 60's feel to it. Cross my heart is a really moving song. I love the words and emotions they put into it. The Colour of Blue is wonderful too. It's a really beautiful love song. One of my favourites is I'll Be There. It has Tina rapping and it is so good. It's about being there for somebody no matter what. I have the international cd so that means that Two in a Million boyfriends and birthdays version is on it. I wish that I could've gotten the cd with stand by you and Spiritual love on it but oh well. The cd is GREAT! Definetly go out and buy it if you haven't already!

This is an amazing comback by the best band in the world. Just when you thought that an improvement on S Club was impossible, 7 comes along and blows you away! S Club 7 have had so many achievements in their career which has only just begun. They have had one number 1 single, three number 2 singles, one number 2 album and now 7 adds to the list being their first number 1 album! Also having a hit TV Series shown in 104 countries worldwide, broadcast to over 90 million people, it is clear to see why they won the Brit Award for the best British Newcomer 2000! All the tracks have featured, or will feature in their TV Series, LA7 except for The Colour Of Blue which is a fab song with Jo on the lead vocals. It features the new track 'Reach' which is still currently in the top 5 after 4 weeks! 7 also features 'Natural' which will be their next single and is an amazing song with Rachel on the lead! This is a simply must have album for everyone so get it NOW!....

There are 12 songs on this CD. After careful listening, 10 are noteworthy. The two I dislike are "All In Love Is Fair,"which is a good song until Bradley ruins it by rapping, and "Spirtual Love." Out of 12 songs, Brad raps in 4. That's 1/3 too much. If I wanted a rap album, I would have bought one. A rap, like in "Friday Night" (first album) was fine, but some of the raps on this album are TOO MUCH! "Bring The House Down" is a great party song. My top picks also include "Reach", "Natural", "The Colour of Blue", "I'll Be There", and "Stand By You." Other Clubbers are given a chance to sing, but when listening to Brad rap, I miss Jo. Rachel does well on "Natural", and Tina and Hannah are great on "Stand By Me." I don't know who sings some of the other songs, but this album is not as Jo dominated as the first. Don't get me wrong, Jo has a great voice, but the other six deserve some mike time too. This is a great album. I subtracted one star for all the unnecessary rapping. S Club 7 is one of my favorite groups, along with Spice Girls and Boyzone. They have a great future if they continue along the path they are on.
