Synopsis

This Spanish horror film (which has developed a cult following among Eurotrash enthusiasts) follows a group of itinerant workers who travel to a small village where they've been told domestic workers are in great demand. However, when their bus driver dies along the way, several begin to suspect that something odd is going on, and while the new arrivals are welcomed with open arms, enough seems amiss that many of the group are certain of foul play. As it turns out, the newcomers have every right to be suspicious, as they've been lured into a village populated entirely by hungry cannibals and thirsty vampires.

This is a great little film from the often forgotten film producer L�on Klimovsky, I must admit I haven't seen any of his other films but this one is a gem. It follows the story of a group of people who become trapped in a strange little village in the mountains after, first their driver suddenly dies, and then the coach breaks down. I don't want to give any more of the plot away, you'll have to watch. It features stalwart Helga Lin� (Horor Express, another great film) and Jack Taylor who worked with Jess Franco on many of his films. Ok, the title is a little over the top for something which is rated 15 (uncut), though it is a brilliantly atmospheric movie with a cracking 70's soundtrack. This DVD is a must for every Euro-Horror lover's collection.
