An addictive game that appeals to anyone and although it looks easy, gets harder and harder. My mum hates computers and i cant get her off it, shes up till all hours matching colours and thats the truth. My boyfriend pulled his face and said it was childish but now we have head to head battles and stay up till all hours in the morning trying to get the highest scores. Its an upside down version of tetris, where you have to match colours, but instead of blocks, you fire balls. Its a puzzle game and theres a strategy to every level, its just spotting it before the time runs out or the board moves down. The graphics are ace but some of the coloured backgrounds make the balls difficult to see. Its a must have for any collection and something for everyone from all ages.

The premise couldn't be simpler: shoot bubbles at other bubbles and combine three of the same colour to make them disappear. Veteran players will learn to build huge stalactites and then drop them for all sorts of bonuses. Do it against opponents in versus mode and it adds bubbles to their screen. There you have Bust a Move in a nutshell.

Bust a Move 2 is up there with Tetris in the puzzle gaming hall of fame and it if didn't have such a naff one player game it would probably be the superior of the two. And by that I do mean that Bust a Move 2 excels when human players compete against each other in either battle mode (when bubbles popped directly effect the opponent's screen) or time attack (the first one to clear their screen of bubbles).

It has rubbish graphics, insidious music, cutesy sound effects and a sickly colour pallet. Nevertheless, Bust a Move 2 has often provided us with unusual yet highly gratifying post-pub antics. Forget the sequels and updates which tinkered with the gameplay mechanics. Get Bust a Move 2 and get addicted.

Bub & Bob, the original stars of Bubble Bobble return in this third-cousin-twice-removed Tetris-type game that ditches joining blocks together in favour of bursting bubbles with the cartoon equivalent of a large crossbow.

There are multiple game types built in here, from skill rounds to timed modes but the real essence of the game lies in it's multi-player action in which each participant bursts collections of similar coloured bubbles which show up on the oppositions side of the screen, forcing them to play harder if their playing area isn't to fill up and cost them the game.

Like so titles these days, the real emphasis is on two player and it's great fun knocking your partner out with a well-timed crossbow to the bubbles that it almost hurts.
