Amazon.co.uk Review

Season 6: Between seasons, Cox and David Arquette were married, leading to "T.O.W. After Vegas" adding "Arquette" after everyone's title credits. Unfortunately, on-screen it's divorce time again despite "T.O.W. Ross Hugs Rachel", since he secretly tries avoiding an annulment of their accidental marriage. Far more out in the open is Chandler and Monica's relationship. Moving in together creates lots of fun as the others move back and forth into each other's apartments. It also leads to Joey finally showing a tender side toward temporary roommate Janine (Elle Macpherson). By now his chat-up catchphrase: "How you doin'?" had caught on, but he needed to fall for someone. He kept the fun alive all year pretending to have a Porsche, starting work on the show Mac and C.H.E.E.S.E. and by falling for Chandler's card game Cups in the excellent "T.O.W. On the Last Night" (one of many directed by Schwimmer). More fun came from Ross trying to teach everyone the mental discipline Unagi, popping ridiculous moves with Monica for their childhood dance routine and having a fluorescently dazzling smile in "T.O.W. Ross' Teeth" (also featuring a near-silent cameo from Ralph Lauren). Far more talkative was Reese Witherspoon as Rachel's sister--another temptation for Ross. What they briefly had wasn't as complicated as later in "T.O.W. Ross Meets Elizabeth's Dad", who turns out to be an Emmy-winning Bruce Willis (thanks to becoming friends with Perry during The Whole Nine Yards). The fans' need for love interest and continuity had established the seasons' format now. Another two-part finale offers jeopardy--then resolution--from Tom Selleck's Richard in "T.O.W. The Proposal" between Chandler and Monica. --Paul Tonks

5.0 out of 5 stars Friends is fab!, 19 Nov 2000
I am the biggest Friends fan in the world!!! No kidding, i am (i bet u all say that 2!)

Series 6 is the best yet!! The double episode on what would have happened if Ross had stayed with Susan, Rachel had stayed with Barry, Chandler had kept his job, Joey was still Dr Drake Ramoray in Days of Our lives to phoebe with her high powered job was the funniest one yet!!

I have to mention the fact of the producers actually getting Hope from Days of our lives to appear was a stroke of genius (was that series 6?) oh well ive seen them all and they are as good as each other!

For anyone who has not seen this series yet, WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING? BUY BUY BUY! The cliffhanger was even better than the will he wont he ross and Rachel last season! But will Chandler get his girl, or will his tactics on proposing backfire and push her into the arms of her ex - Richard? Just have to buy the vid to find out! will they live happily ever after? Lets hope so!

LONG LIVE FRIENDS!

5.0 out of 5 stars Possibly the best Friends video yet, 15 Nov 2000
By A Customer
Being a Friends addict I have watched all of them many times, but for me this has to be one of the best videos yet. With the most romantic storyline since Ross and Rachel, watching it makes your eyes well up and your heart flutter. Matthew Perry is back on form as Chandler whilst Lisa Kudrow seems to be getting more crazy if thats possible. If you havent watched this one yet your missing some great one liners and an unusual but very funny comedy role by Bruce Willis, and if you have watched it, like me you will enjoy watching it again and again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Roll on Season Seven!, 7 Sep 2000
By A Customer
This vid concludes Season Six with a crash, bang and wallop! The One With The Proposal (Parts One and Two) sees Chandler about to ask Monica to marry him when Richard (played by none other than Tom Selleck) turns up and spoils plans. Things get complicated when Richard also proposes to Chandler's girl. Who does she pick? Buy this vid to find out! Tom Selleck is not the only star to appear though. Bruce Willis of Die Hard and the recent Sixth Sense appears in the first three fun-filled eppys of the video. He is the father of Ross's student girlfriend and ends up dating Rachel. He's a very private guy though - so when Ms Green asks him to open up, their relationship ends when Paul starts to weep uncontrollably about his childhood. Phoebe and Joey also have plenty to do though - Joey adjusts to life as a TV star, while Phoebe begins to write another book and also finds time to help Chandler pick out a ring for Monica. These five (or four episodes, depending on how you look at it)are brilliant and end the season with style. I just hope Season Seven is as great as this...
