Product Description

Synopsis
Join Count Duckula, the vegetarian vampire duck on three adventures: 'No Sax Please We're Egyptian', 'Vampire Vacation' and 'One Stormy Night'.

From the Back Cover
A vampire duck who hates the sight of blood and only sucks on broccoli sandwiches - we're talking about, the one and only Count Duckula. Featuring a feast of crazy adventures and mad-capped antics straight from the darkest depths of Transylvania.

NO SAX PLEASE WE'RE EGYPTIAN.

Following in the footsteps of his ancestors in search of the Golden Saxophone, Duckula, Igor and Nanny travel to Egypt, but our heroes aren't the only ones looking for the treasure. Will they escape the evil claws of the Ra's High Priests?

VAMPIRE VACATION

Fed up with bad weather Count Duckula takes his hardy team to visit his cousin Don Diego in Spain. - Unaware that they are carrying a sinister stow-away. Creating chaos on arrival, Duckula attempts to impress his cousin by bullfighting, but his plan goes horribly wrong and he comes face to face with the fiercest bull in Spain.

ONE STORMY NIGHT

Doctor Von Goosewing sneaks into Castle Duckula and builds a mechanical monster to do away with Duckula forever. A bolt of lightning hits the castle, missing the monster and bringing to life a statue of one of Duckula's evil ancestors, Statula. All sorts of mayhem begins...

5.0 out of 5 stars Pure Nostalgia, 24 Jun 2001
By A Customer
Brilliant. I grew up laughing at the antics of Count Duckula, Igor and Nanny and bought the video for nostalgic reasons. Being 22, I now appreciate the subtle quips of Igor and Nanny's misunderstandings. It certainly brought back memories of the coffin transporter with disco lights, the talking vampire cuckoo clock and Dr. Von Goosewing, 'the vampire vanquisher'. I even managed to sing along with the song at the end! 3 great episodes I recommend to any child of the 80s.

5.0 out of 5 stars Duckula's back from the undead!, 2 Oct 2001

I should really be too old for cartoons now but This one's special.A Vegetarian Vampire Duck?! Three very funny episodes featuring other brilliant characters besides the main stars - the Crow brothers, Duckula's Pyromaniac cousin Don Diego, and scheming Statula - and even at twenty they still make me laugh! This cartoon's brilliant for all ages - Re-release MORE Duckula videos please!!
