5.0 out of 5 stars The Plot Thickens......, 26 Jun 2001
By A Customer
After resigning from his job in a secret government organisation The Prisoner (Patrick McGoohan) finds himself abducted from his London flat and taken to 'The Village'. The Village is populated by people known only by numbers who all behave exactly as they are told. The Village is run by the sinister number one, whom nobody has ever seen. The new number six finds himself being questioned on the reasons for resigning from his job, despite his protests that he just wanted a holiday. His every move is watched by cameras and people in the village. Who can he trust? Can he even trust himself? Is there any hope of escape?

A,B,C is one of my favourite episodes. The Prisoner is being subjected to secret night time experiments to determine why he resigned. He is being injected with drugs and then his dreams are manipulated to try and extract the infomation that number one requires. There are three people that are suspected of getting number six to defect...A,B and C. His dreams are controlled so that he meets each of these people and number two hopes he can get the Prisoner to confess to one of them.

Free For All puts number six in a position where he thinks he can change the village. Number two suggests that number six runs for office to become the new number two. Will the Prisoner finally have some power to strike back at the people behing the Village or is it all just staged so that he is further manipulated?
