There isn't a lot of suspense in this "Amityville" . Originally filmed for cable. Patty Duke does a good job as the mother who has to fight the evil. The opening scenes are gripping when we are taken to the old Amityville house in New York where a group of priests are exorcising the demon... Recommended for the ones who like The Amityville movies. This one gets a good DVD transfer.

Another entry in the Amityville Horror series. This film was made for cable. The source of evil here is an old lamp that was transfered from the original Amityville House in New York elsewhere. The acting is not bad, the effects are rather limp & the movie falls into cliche traps. IT will sure keep audiences interested on rainy nights. This one has a fun twist in the end.
