Britney's fifth singe was the first to be taken off from her second hit-album of the same name in May 2000. At a time when Britney's image was laying the foundation of its first earth-moving transition where her Queen of Pop status was at its peak, she released this congenial, amazingly sung pure-pop song that held one of the catchiest tunes since her debut single '...baby one more time'.

Hitting #1 spot in the UK charts, the captivating riff is one of Britney's pre-eminent with a lofty vocal range that puts even her to the test with her unsurpassed standards that seems to lift to highs and bow to lows in a click of a switch. Beginning at mediocre velocity it promptly opens at full-throttle to all-out pop. Track 2 'Deep in My Heart' has the aura of an early 90's house number that is so jumpy you be expecting Britney to hit the sky at any moment with its prominent keyboard remarks striking behind.. Britney has the ever-present backing vocals, this time from artists Andreas Carlsson & Jeanette Olsson, but unpredictably in the chorus for once and dare I say it, doesn't frankly sound like Britney in places. 'From The Bottom of My Broken Heart' starts with some record-scratching, as does the 2002 single 'I Love Rock n' Roll' and is of the dullest in the tidy package.

As always, thanks to Jive Records (not), this compact disc is giving away as little as possible. So I'm afraid the fantastic music video with Britney in the red PVC one-piece is unavailable. The grab this video refers to the video 'Britney Spears - Live & More'.

teen queen britney spears has done it again! oops!...i did it again is an ace track from a superb second album. the b-sides, the first "deep in my heart" is a bit boring, taken from her first album, UK version only, and the second b-side, "from the bottom of my broken heart ospina's millenium funk mix" is an absolutley cool remix of the soppy ballad. so, u get 2 up-beat fantastic tracks and one mid-tempo ok song!!! a must have!!!!!!!!!

Opps .. I did it again, has all the hallmarks of Britney's previous chart-topping efforts, the funky pop-bass lines and R&B rhythms blend effortlessly to form another sure-fire hit for the teen-queen. The B-sides consist of a cheery Eurovisionesque pop blast with 'Deep In My Heart' and a wispy, melodic ballad 'From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart' complete with Latin guitar and weepy lyrics.

"Oops she's done it again". The only question remaining is "When are you doing it again Britney?"
