This is Stan Bush's first album and happens to be one of his best. Not only did he write all of the songs (Bar one) but he also plays ALL guitars, and there is some excellent guitar work. Really a melodic hard album. The melodies are supreme and Stan's singing is faultless. Check out the excellent guitar solo that opens the cool "Fire in my Heart" and "Still Young and Beautiful" is one of the best ballads Stan's ever written (Behind the awesome "Love Don't Lie - on 'Stan Bush & Barrage 1987 album'" and "Don't Accuse Her" is quite a hot rocker with an excellent riff. Buy this album as an intro to Stan's music and then buy 1987's 'Stan Bush & Barrage' 1996's 'Child Within' and 1998's 'Heaven' Great albums by a great artist.
