A soundtrack that plays its part in a gruesome, yet thoughtful and brilliant film. Mike Oldfield goes all out to convey the beauty and horror of this movie, with great success.

Some would say the album is now dated, but despite it certainly coming from the mid-eighties and its unfathomable love for synth, it is simply a product of its time, and should be judged on its considerable merits.

Just a shame its not a full soundtrack, with the incredibly moving final scene's 'Imagine' not being included.
