4.0 out of 5 stars Pure Class, 18 Feb 2001
By A Customer
This volume has two of the best episodes from the series. Operation Susie is a fanatastic episode with a splendid performance from Harold Innocent. The plot about some teenagers who are being Hunted by a Government spook is well handled and the idea of the all powerful CI5 coming up against international law is great. It's quite amazing to find that they really loose out at the. A Man Called Quinn is a Harrowing tale which is has a touch of The New Avengers about it. Stephen Berkoff gives a great perfomance as a Russian interrogator. The opening sequence with Quinn breaking out is great and through-out we feel more and more sympathy for Quinn as we begin to see more of his interrogation. The weak point of the tape is Slush Fund, a slightly duller plot from the Avengers scribe Roger Marshall although interesting the plot wains a bit around the middle. However, we get a brief sequence with Oxo Lynda Bellingham.
