Steam into town with the Track & Stack City Set from BRIO. This wonderfully indulgent set is the perfect starter pack for a wooden train set and it shouts timeless quality from every joint. The Track & Stack City Set contains 24 pieces of wooden track in various shapes and sizes including one points unit.
At the back of the station is a bright red lift that allows even a very young lift operator to transport the passengers from the ground to the raised station and track on floor one. The front of the station doubles as both the higher-level station with integrated track and as a tunnel at the lower level.
Two further raised supports cleverly integrate a wooden track piece into the bridge itself making the whole structure very robust--the BRIO engineers clearly understand the common problem with raised train-track circuits breaking under the rigours of zealous young train drivers.
A bright and cheery blue train with a red and a yellow carriage join together with magnets allowing an additional education twist through the use of positive and negative poles. Ready to drive the train is a blue suited driver and his two trusty passengers--a little boy and a little girl--all with articulated arms and waists.
The station booth, built on solid wooden stands with an opening shutter, can be moved around the track depending on its assigned role--ticket office, ice cream booth or refreshment stand. And finally the set also contains four wooden trees and two wooden traffic signals to complete the scenario.
Fully constructed the set covers 121 cm by 86 cm (48 by 34 inches) of floor space--large enough for two train drivers to play happily together without excessive squabbling.
