Synopsis
REVELATION, the sequel to APOCALYPSE, begins three months after the troubles described therein. Counter-terrorism expert Stone (Fahey) is still disquieted by the inexplicable disappearance of his wife and family, but is preoccupied with his investigations into the resistance activities of the anti-Messiah group, The Haters. Soon the false Messiah will be dazzling the masses on the Day of Wonders, which is actually a deadly trap, unless Stone and his team can warn the world in time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!, 21 Feb 2001
I bought this DVD on impulse and I am SO glad that I did. It is an exciting film (without too much graphic violence) and I find it very spiritually uplifting. With some allowance for artistic liscence, the film's plot is strongly rooted in biblical prophecy. I think most Christians would certainly enjoy this film, as would anyone else

5.0 out of 5 stars What happens after millions go missing?, 22 Aug 2006
By M. Allen "m214463" (Exeter, UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
OK, this is a blatant Christian fim, there is no subtlety, nor should there be any.
The starting premise is that in the first film, which I haven't seen, millions of people go missing in a second. This is know as the Rapture, when Christ comes back for his true churchand takes them to be with Him. Out of this film for certain comes Helen Hannah, a newspaper reporter, I think.
That is the background to this film, originally called Apacolypse 2, now Revelation. Now the story starts to heat up, if you will excuse a terrible pun.
The world has found its Messiah, Nick Maccaluso, played Nick Mancusso. He has stepped forward to take contro of the Earth in the chaos of the disapearances,. Opposing him is Helen Hannah.
Along the ay she has picked up other people who were left behind and have now become Christians, called Haters by Macaluso and co.
Jeff Fahey is a policeman called in to investigate a series of terrorist bombings, supposedly set off by the Haters.
Along the way, he survives being killed by members of the One Nation Earth polceforce, O.N.E. for short.
How he meets up with the opposition, lead by Helen, is part of the the story. The model Caroline Alt plays a blind lady, very convincingly, I beieve she spent a month in a blind peoples home for the role.
At the hear of the story is something clled the Day of wonders, which will transform the people of the world. I won't give it away, it's part of the ongoing story, and also comes up in the sequal, Tribulation.
I'll be honest and say that the ending had me wanting to stand up and cheer, its so up beat.
Well worth watching if your a Christian, and a thought provoker if your not.

This film is about the 5th worst I have ever seen. The premise of the plot is probably OK to a hardened sci-fi type who is looking for something a bit different. Read more
