Quite simply the finest lyric ever to be written can be found on this album... "He can't satisfy you with his little worm but I'll bust you out with ma super sperm...!" He being Superman of course. How on earth this album hasn't sold a million I don't know. 150 minutes of the ultimate rap and hip hop for under a tenner!! Why oh why are people buying into Will Smith's blatant raping of these classics..? This music makes you dance - absolutely no need for drugs or alcohol. The opening classic Rapper's Delight that contains the afore mentioned classic line is without doubt the greatest rap song of all time (yes even better than trailer trash Slim Shady). The Sugars vs The Grandmaster makes Slim vs Dr Dre seem like kids in the schoolyard. Apart from RD all the classics are here - obvious mentions to White Lines (those vision dreams of passion), The Message, Showdown & Step Off. However most surprising is The Lover In You - makes Marvin Gaye seem relatively passionless...

Everybody buy a copy of this as I bought it 7 months ago and I've listened to it almost every day since. As the guys say... JUMP ON IT! JUMP ON IT! JUMP ON IT!!!

I have waited years to own an album by Grandmaster Flash. Stumbling across this 2 CD package was a dream come true. Features some of the best early rap tracks from the 80's - such as the legendary White Lines, Rappers Delight. Yet another bargain from AMAZON that helps complete my music collection.

listening to this cd while driving and relaxing is great. the smoothness of both the Sugarhill Gang and Grandmaster Flash is striking. I mean nowadays the only rappers close to this are 213 and Tha Dogg Pound (oh and TI and LL Cool J, to an extent).

Rappers delight is phenomenal, it just reaps of crasy ryhmes and a fantastic beat. I have to admit Rappers Delight and 8th Wonder are briliant songs. I have played it to a number of people who say they dispise rap and they almost all like listening to Sugarhill now, asking me to play it in my car to my mates and girlfriend alike.

A must for any hip hop fan, just like Tupac's Greatest Hits, Straight Outta Compton, Doggystyle and Dogg Food.
