I doubt anyone who's never played the game is ever going to buy the soundtrack. For the fans, yeah, it's great, but it will only remind you of the game, which is exactly why it's good for the fans and no one else. Think about whether you're buying this because it's good music and you like it or because it's related to your favourite zombie-blasting survival-horror series. It's not too expensive but I still think unless you're a dedicated fan and you feel you've not satisfied your love for Resident Evil by not buying it then it's not a great perchase. Great atmospheric music and some cool action tracks provide some great music if you make your own movies or games and need some music for them. To conclude, don't buy this unless your a big fan of Resident Evil ot you're sure you'll like what you're buying. Personally, I bought it for both reasons.

this cd is an excellent product for any resident evil fan. the music creates the perfect tension and suspense for the game it is based on. obviously the composer has expertly planned what sort of notes would be suitable to create fear and suspense so that the listener is inticed and compelled by the music. any resident evil fan should enjoy this soundtrack immensely. a must buy for any fans!

After searching long and hard I finally managed to get my hands on this soundtrack,quite cheap aswell. From the moment I put this in my CD player it takes me back to when I was play as Leon & Claire in Resident Evil 2.

The music itself is very creepy and well done. My two favourate tracks at the moment are:

Track 14 - Secure Place(This is played when you in the dark room)
The piano on this piece is very eerie and heavy.

Track 15 - Leon with Claire(This is played in the S.T.A.R.S. office)
There is just something about this track.Its quite sad in a way if you know whats just happened in the game.

To sum up. If you are lucky enough to get your hands on this BUY IT NOW, I cant stress that enough. You will not be disappointed.
