When you think of most singers, that have originally started as actors, most of them are a flop. The only programme where there have been a good amount of decent singers out of it is neighbours. Not only is there kylie, who I’m writing this review about, but Natalie Imbruglia is a decent singer and it looks as if Holly Vallance isn't going to turn out too bad either

I'm writing my review on what is her first album. Although to be honest, when this came out i was still in nappies. This CD was actually my parents choice, they still tell me how I used to bop around to this in my nappy. I suppose i still like this album because it was one of the first pieces of music i heard.

This album is self titled Kylie. On the cover it has a picture of her, where she looks very pretty, as she still does now. But just by looking at the cover you can tell that this was in the 80's. She’s wearing a nearly off the shoulder black top with a pair of gold sunglasses printed on her top. Her hair is in a perm ( of course it was, all the rage in those days,) with a white background quite basic, but it works, i mean who couldn't resist buying and album with her lovely sweet face on it.

This was a very successful album for the time. it went platinum and had sales of over 1.85 million she must have been earning loads lol This was actually released in 1988. I should have told you that before really shouldn't I.

All in all this is an ok album especially the first few songs, but the last few aren't that good. I much prefer her current music but I suppose that’s because most young peoples tastes change with time. Ahh perfect album for me to listen to and remember the days when i was a child as this album does bring back some memories for me
