The legendary final gig of the Godfathers of Goth at the Hammersmith Palais. The audience didn't see it coming and no one expected it. "Searching for Satori," the end of one of Bauhaus finest concerts became the end of their final concert. As the words "rest in peace" echoed around the Palais, the band left the stage for the final time with the audience stunned and demanding an inquest. Eventually they got one, and a resurrection to boot 15 years on, but this is Bauhaus at the height of their nosferatic powers...undead, uncompromising & underestimated....enjoy!

I was there for that last gig & i wasn`t surprised they called it a day. Bauhaus, as a force, were on the decline at that time. Their later albums were, in hindsight, remarkably good but around `83, were just not hitting the mark and this gig bears witness to this.Apart from the obvious bootleg quality you have to ask yourself is it worth the money for the memory & the answer is sadly no.Overall they sound jaded & sluggish.This is made more obvious by the lack of depth of the recording & the tinniness of the overall production.There are better examples of the awesome power that was Bauhaus live, just check out Press The Eject.
