If you have only used traditional clipart this is a real eye opener. These are not drawings but superb luscious photo objects with background transparency, which you can use instead of clipart. This package contains every conceivable subject you could want to cover and furthermore the built in browser engine is one of the best I've seen. As you type in the subject you are looking for the browser immediately brings up all the relevant photo objects as thumbnail images. All you do then is to click on your chosen image and export it in your favourite picture fomat. Fantastic !!! After using this package you won't want to go back to boring old clipart again. It seems a bit pricey but well worth the investment.

Fantastic. 50,000 high quality (though limited resolution) photographs covering everything from A-Z. All the artwork is fully masked ready for exporting to Photoshop (or similar). Most importantly, the pieces are all suitable for working with. Unlike lots of stock art, these aren't finished scenes. Instead, expect to find 50,000 "entities", like telephones and shopping trollys, ready for your own imagination to take it further.
Note, the software did not work AT ALL on my Windows XP SP1 laptop until I applied the patch downloadable from the Hemera WebSite. (www.Hemera.com, and follow the links for support and downloads) A single flaw in an otherwise well presented application. The searching is very impressive --> the indexing returns images as fast as you can type.

I was disappointed with this when I got it. Although there are a lot of photos, there are often a lot that are very similar so there isn't as much choice as I thought at first.
Some of the photos are obviously posed too.
Then someone told me about the free clip art on the Microsoft web site. Now I use this all the time for my web sites and newsletters, and hardly use the Hemera products at all.
