4.0 out of 5 stars Larger than any other Elephant film!, 11 Jan 2004
By A Customer
Bill Murray plays a fantastic character who inherits an elephant from his dead father. Vera, a trained elephant, who is worth a lot of money, bonds with Jack (bill murray) to create a fantastic loveable relationship which really warms your heart. The comedy is apparent throughout the film, occassionally silenced by the sad, box-of-tissue moments. Definately one to watch, especially with the kids with a bag of microwave popcon - it's only a PG! this proves that futuristic films aren't always the best as this heart warming 1996 film proves to be a well earned 4 out of 5.
