3.0 out of 5 stars A bit unreal, wasn't it?, 23 Mar 2000

Disappointment is a word that comes to mind. I guess there will always be a QAF for us to go back to and love by - but it won't be this one. From groundbreaking to stalemate, Did I hate it? Of course not, I still loved it, but only in the way you just love this brilliant new american show that's got this guy that's got these eyes... O well, it was fun.

1.0 out of 5 stars The usual sequel that isn't half as good, 25 Jun 2000
By A Customer
Reading the rave reviews on this page makes you wonder why QAF2 did not win the Best Film Oscar - watch it and you know why. Compared to the absolutely brilliant QAF1 series, it's simply disappointing: it's good fun at times, but the plot has got holes big enough to drive a lorry through, the acting is distinctly mediocre, the make-up and hairdos border on the grotesque, and the ending is insultingly stupid. Why the folk they made this I'll never know.

3.0 out of 5 stars Who wrote that ending?, 14 Nov 2000
By A Customer
It's good, mind you. Not as good as QAF1, but good. Funny, touching, serious,it's got everything, but then it ends. And what an ending...! Someone on the set just remembered he'd left a pot on the fire, and they had to rush it and run. Someone write that end again, PLEASE!!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic
Perhaps not as good as the original (the ending is slightly 'out there') the sequel captures the pace, the feeling, and the sensitivity of the original. Great viewing.
