This film combines realism and poetry, illuminating the real in the beautiful and the beautiful in the real. Each character is fully developed in a few glances, an outline sketch which captures the elusive nature of the human soul. The humour emanates from the characters and their situation. Nothing is imposed, instead the highly crafted film is there as a vehicle through which humans express their unique similarity. Gritty philosophy.
