At last the pilot episode of the popular Ironside series. An excellent print from Universal Video with the bonus of the first two episodes as well. Raymond Burr is well cast in this, his second most famous role after Perry Mason. Watch for Grace Lee Whitney and Stuart Margolin in support. Highly recommended.

I found this fascinating to watch - a glimpse of San Francisco in the 1960s. Considering its age the pilot episode has weathered well and its main characters are all excellently portrayed making this well worth watching.

3 top-notch Ironside episodes. Great moments include the only chance to see the Chief walking (doesn't last long before he gets a bullet in his spine) and the recruitment of Mark.
