5.0 out of 5 stars Further instalments from Surbiton's classiest Street, 4 Mar 2000

This is all ten episodes of Series 2 of The Street. More characters are introduced, including the obnoxious Slurreys, Marlon Brando, Alan Rickman, Tony Blackburn, David Essex and The Beatles. And Jimmy Hill's still around too! Al Pacino has a wedding, David Bowie tries his hand at stand-up, and the future of Mick and Keith's shop, and the whole street, seems in doubt...

5.0 out of 5 stars "At least I wasn't in the Swarm", 31 Jul 2000

A superb piece of comedy which will make you look at Hollywood stars(and Jimmy Hill) in a whole new light. With screen moments such as Roger Moore trying to get it on with Jack Nicholson's girlfriend and Joe Pesci becoming a doctor, every fan of comedy must see this.An amazing concept indeed.

5.0 out of 5 stars non stop bloody hilarity!, 5 Jun 2000

stella street is the mae west of british comedy series! with striking similarities to their predacessors, monty python's flying circus, this is easily the comedy of the jilted generation. young and old alike (and even some americans) will revel in this intricate tapestry of suburban life played out according to michael caine. i wonder if michael caine is a fan?
