Although De Niro plays a bit of a frustrating fool in the film, he plays him well. The film has a good, original plot and has a very witty/clever humour if you listen to the diaglouge. It is a great film, and De Niro & Bill Murray are great in it.

This film is a really interesting character development in which police man Wayne Dobie, played brilliantly by Bobby De Niro, goes from a timid, bumbling loser to eventually "man up" thanks to some help from a girl called Glory.

De Niro is fantastic as Wayne (or Mad Dog as people call him), and Uma Thurman is excellent as the young Glory. The chemistry between the two of them is fantastic and thus leads to two of the best/most realistic/funniest sex scenes I've ever seen.

But despite these great performances, the story line is fairly weak (although quite original), and leads me to only give this film 3 stars.
