From the director of Nightmare Man (1999) and sundry episodes of Due South and The Outer Limits TV series comes Demon House, a schlocky horror flick re-titled to disguise the fact that it's actually Night of the Demons III. Here we see yet another visit by a group of stupid teenagers to a house wherein lies a doorway to Hell. Amelia Kinkade returns as evil hostess Angela, but that's all there is to link back to the previous two movies--they even use an entirely different house! As for the plot: it's Halloween and two girls with car trouble hitch a lift from a vanload of clichéd "kids" who accidentally hold up a Kwik-E-Mart. They hide in the out-of-bounds funeral parlour, Hull House, which--you'll never guess--has a history of mysterious murders. Then, in a surprising twist, they begin to be picked off one-by-one and transformed into a variety of demons. A race ensues to see who will survive until sun-up. The camera trickery is right out of Sam Raimi's vastly superior Evil Dead trilogy, while even the titillating nudity is dispensed with in the first few minutes. At least the CGI credits sequence is impressive.

i would give this movie 5 stars for the opening sequence ,computer graphics of souls flying into demonhouse & the music is funky man ! a sheriff investigates spooky goings on at hull house,a former funeral parlour,its not haunted just possessed by a demon called angela & her ghouls.i love the line when he says ,"see this badge ,im the law "
she says"round here im the law & its time to pronounce sentence"his badge
is taken & thrown back slicing open his face.
a group of teenagers are on the way to a halloween party when they are
involved in a shoot out with the police ,thinking an officer is dead they
go into hiding into,youve guessed it ,the infamous hull house.
all through the film a detective is persuing them to tell them the cop is
ok.
angela welcomes them to hull house ,then the killing starts ! a girl is
changed into a cat ,angela sucks bullets out of a gun & a girls hand becomes a snake!
the movie is full of one-liners but it works ,great fun,check out "night of the demons" the original film & you will see angela the goth before she
became a demon,there also "angelas revenge" no 2 ,come on kevin.s. tenney
demonhouse 4 ? love it..............!

The formula is not new: mis-matched teenagers, fear and loathing, demonspawn, and so on and so on. There are certain little nuances however, that make this particular re-hash intriguing. Not unlike one of those old B-movies you might see that is so awful you can't help laughing.

I remeber first seeing this tripe on the sci-fi channel...1998 maybe? Anyway, the acting is dire, direction poor and even with the obligatory nudity, it doesn't even warrant 1 star! It kinda leaves me wondering who the hell would have provided money to make this! Still, at least they changed the name instead of calling it "Night of the demons 3". Poor!
