Synopsis
Forget the corncob pipe and the button nose--this snowman's got icicle teeth and a yen for slaughter! When his prison transport truck collides with a cargo of "genetic material," condemned serial killer Jack Frost is transformed into a murderous snowman who wreaks mayhem in a rural town--red plaid scarf and all.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ice to see you, 10 Sep 2002
Jack Frost is one of the funniest films I have ever seen, and it contains some absolutely classic film comedy moments, which unfortunately will never be seen by most people (the corpse in the rocking chair, anyone?). It's no horror film (I've seen bags of shopping which are more frightening), so just take it as it was obviously intended - an unashamedly low-budget, tongue-in-cheek horror film spoof.

PS Jack Frost II is rubbish.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best b-movie ever made (so far!), 11 Jul 2002
By Richard Bennett (Bristol, United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
ok, maybe not the best, but it IS damn funny. It's a film that doesn't take itself too seriously, and doesn't ask you to either. Just sit back, relax and let Christmas come early! I first saw it in the local rental store (it had a holographic cover) and thought it was so preposterous a story that it HAD to be watched. And I'm glad i got it. I hear there's a sequel too.

Oh, and just how DO you tell the difference between Snowmen and Snow-women?!!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars cult classic, 8 Dec 2003
This may be the worst film ever made but it is absolutely hilarious. The bath scene had me crying with laughter. This is not a horror but a classic comedy, watch this film and your life will change for the better.
p.s After you see this film you will want to watch 'jack frost 2,' well dont, because that is trully the worst film ever made.

5.0 out of 5 stars Snow joke, this is Awesome!
Not for one moment does this film try to take itself seriously, nor its genre. The whole concept of the movie is a subtle spoof of the many slasher movies which have gone before... Read more

1.0 out of 5 stars If you like this sort of thing....
If you're into low budget horror, with no special effects (bar a cartoon sequence that they REALLY pushed the boat out for) then you'd like Jack Frost. Read more
