5.0 out of 5 stars Just about the best murder mystery there is..., 30 Oct 2000
By A Customer
This is a treat for people who like a good puzzle to solve and are tired of the same old detective dramas TV seems to churn out these days. An hour and a half long, it never drags and your brain will be hurting after a while as you try to work out not only 'whodunnit' but how they did it. Jonathon Creek concentrates on the so-called 'locked room' and impossible crimes while having a good amount of humour. You would expect this as it was written by the man behind 'One Foot In The Grave', David Renwick. And its got Rik Mayall in it. What more do you want?

5.0 out of 5 stars A Surprise ending! (as usual), 27 Sep 2001
By A Customer
My favourite part of this video was the fact that the policeman (played brilliantly by Rik Mayall) was not a bumbling idiot but was, on many ocassions, cleverer than Jonathan.

The hilarious scene where Jonathan locks his car door when seeing a thug will remain with me for a long time! This episode will get you hooked and want to see more.

But when will the second series be released on Video?????
