Blotto and Another Fine Mess are two of laurel and Hardy's funniest short films ever to be created and the performances they give are side-splittingly funny. In Blotto, Laurel escapes his strict wife with a bottle of liquor he and Hardy intend to enjoy at a restaurant. But, what the two don't realise is Laurel's wife has replaced it with a concoction of mustard, chilli sauce and a pot of cold tea which the two still manage to get drunk on. The results a laugh-a-minute short which will have you in as much fits of laughter as the famous comedy duo have over the "liquor." In Another Fine Mess, farce is brilliantly brought to life by Laurel and Hardy. They are running from the police charged with vagrancy and hide out in a mansion. But a knock at the door brings two people who have come to look at the mansion which is for sale. The consequences, Hardy pulling off the task of finding the billiard room and impressing the posh Lord Flountree and Laurel switching between the roles of Hives the butler and Agnes the maid! Both shorts guarantee to have you clasping onto your sides with laughter. A must see for all those who love watching an original and great comedy. Catch this video before it goes!
