4.0 out of 5 stars Superb Action, a must for all Ali fans., 16 Sep 2001
By A Customer
I thought this wasnt so good at first watch. The sound quality is a bit poor. But after many re-watches the acton is good, and the cheeky banter between Frazier, Ali and Holmes during the 'Dinner with the Champions' is absolute classic. Must be seen by all fans.

5.0 out of 5 stars AWESOME INSIGHT INTO GREAT CHAMPIONS, 23 Sep 2000
By A Customer
WOW. This dvd/vcr is informative, inspirational and a fantastic insight into the boxing champions that have helped propell boxing, and sports generally, into the massive industries that they are today. The film/documentary focuses on Ali, Frasier, Foreman, Holmes, Norton and has fantastic footage of all the classic bouts of this great era of boxing. The interviews and comments of the boxers will make you both laugh and cry, and will certainly evoke strong emotions from anyone who takes part in any sport and appreciates the hard work and sacrifice these athletes made to become the best at their chosen discipline. The best boxing dvd/vid which is available, and should be viewed by anyone who follows sport generally.FANTASTIC.

4.0 out of 5 stars Champions Forever - A great buy, 8 Feb 2004
Champions Forever is a must both for boxing aficionados and novices alike.

It is a whirlwind acccount of the friendship and rivalry of five of the greatest heavyweights of all time - Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Norton and Holmes, with magnificent footage of all fighters in action, each with their own very distinct style of fighting.

Baseball legend Reggie Jackson does a beautiful job of interviewing the boxers and drawing out their very personal stories about the highs and lows of their careers and what it means to win and lose the Heavyweight Championship of the World.

This film will make you realise how glorious and entertaining heavyweight boxing was in the 1960s and 70s and how sad and dull it has become today, despite the hideous sums of money involved.

Buy this film today. You will not be disappointed!
