3.0 out of 5 stars Very good comedy, but unfortunately silent, 22 May 2001
This DVD contains 6 short comedies: (1) Lucky Dog; (2) Oranges & Lemons; (3) Yes, Yes Nanette; (4) West of Hot Dog; (5) Enough to do and (6) Hop to it bell hop. All 6 are great comedies, according to ourselves number 6 would be rated top and number 2 would be rated the least best of the lot. In each case Stan or Laurel get in all sorts of difficulties going about their "normal" business which creates many funny occurances. Certainly good, but amongst the Laurel and Hardy DVD there are better ones.

1.0 out of 5 stars Two good shorts, the rest too bad quality, 19 Jul 2001

The first and last short of this volume are very good. Maybe that goes for some of the others too, but the quality of the films are so bad/dark that I failed to see them through.

2.0 out of 5 stars Still a bit funny, but all in silent: Yawn!, 21 Feb 2004
I recieved this DVD as a gift but then sold it on because I REALLY didn't like it. I nearly fell asleep watching some of them. some bits are funny but most of it is boring. Only for die hard L&H only!
