3.0 out of 5 stars Later Laurel & Hardy comedy will amuse their fans., 13 Mar 2000
By A Customer
Mr. Hardy goes on a rest cure for his health, and meets an escaped killer. So much for the plot! Most of this film consists of unrelated bits of visual humor. Some viewers may be a bit put off by the "dinner" scene, in which Stan and Ollie have to eat a meal of string, tobacco, sponges, and other household items. That's the only reservation against this silly but funny comedy of 1940.
