5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent L&H video, 2 Nov 2001
By A Customer
This video features 3 classic Laurel and Hardy shorts: Scram!(1933), Night Owls(1930) and The Midnight Patrol(1932). Some excellent L&H material in this video including the duo arresting their Police Chief by accident and Ollie's trousers getting ripped by Stan (several times!!!). Some scenes get a bit repetitive, like breaking into houses, which occurs in every episode. But overall, a great way to spend 61 minutes!

4.0 out of 5 stars Survive or Die, 23 Feb 2004
3 more Comedy Classics with Stan and Ollie where they get in trouble with the Law.

First of all “Scram!” sees the pair help a drunk who’s lost his Car Keys. He invites them home, but lets them in the wrong house! Perhaps he got the house nextdoor to his or maybe it looked like his.

“Night Owls” sees the pair try to rob the Police Chief’s house under the orders of Officer Kennedy. The Butler has been seen in several other films like “Our Wife” and “Thicker Than Water”. Will the Chief find out?

In “The Midnight Patrol” Stan and Ollie are actually Policemen. Something concerning me is the end where the boys get shot by the Chief (who they accidentely arrested) off Screen. Do they “Survive or Die”?

A good video choice for Police Fans.
