"Liberty" was Laurel and Hardys first film released in 1929 and is a silent film. I'll give it **** because the scene on the tower block lasted a bit too long. "Double Whoopee" is one of the best Laurel and Hardy films I have ever seen yet even though it is Silent. A ***** film if you ask me, it is well worth watching. "Bacon Grabbers" is another very good silent film from 1929 but doesn't survive to a very good condition. The picture is sometimes too light or a bit too fuzzy ,nevertheless the film is a very good one and for that I give it *****. A tape well worth buying. Make it top of the list!
