Following on from the acclaimed "Wilderness Walks" video, this second series of 6 walks accompanies Cameron McNeish (probably, Britain's best known walker) and his guests on their various walks in wild country through the rugged areas of the Red Cullin of Skye with Donnie Munro (rock star turned politician) and the mountains of Sutherland in Scotland with Rebecca Ridgway. Further afield Cameron also joins; Jim Perrin in the Sheeffry Hills, County Mayo; Nicholas Crane through the spectacular Ordesa gorge in the Pyrenees; Hamish Brown in the fabulous Atlas Mountains of Morocco and Ray & Jenny Jardine (accomplished long distance hikers) to the completely superb Three Sisters Wilderness of Oregon, USA. As well as the magnificent awe-inspiring scenery the video touches on each of the guests love of their chosen landscapes and the reasoning behind why such landscape is so important to them. Wilderness Walks 2, is typical of the acclaimed mountain film director/producer, Richard Else's work, in as much as the filming is never over dramatised nor scripted but shown in a natural way. Whereby the real beauty and philosophy behind the appreciation of wild places and activities can be achieved. Viewing the film I felt as if I were really there sharing and cherishing the moment and all of nature's beautiful treasures..
